The Palace of the Grand Masters, the Great Hospital and the Street of the Knights from the Gothic period architecture coexists with mosques, public baths and other buildings dating from the Ottoman period. Walking on the cobbled streets the visitor is traveling from past to present and unlocks the deepest secrets that are hidden behind the intact walls of the Medieval City.

Rhodes Mandraki Harbour

Mandraki Harbor is a picturesque harbour located in the old town of Rhodes, Greece. It is one of the most popular tourist spots on the island, known for its beautiful scenery, historic buildings and lively atmosphere. The harbour is home to the famous statue of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which stood at the entrance of the harbour in ancient times. The statue was a representation of the sun-god Helios and was considered one of the tallest statues of the ancient world.

Rhodes AcropolisThe Acropolis of Rhodes is an ancient citadel located on a hill in the city of Rhodes, Greece. It is one of the most important archaeological sites on the island and offers a glimpse into the rich history of Rhodes. The Acropolis also features a variety of defensive structures such as the walls and towers, which were built to protect the city from invaders. Visitors can also see the remains of houses, public buildings, and workshops that were used by the residents of the Acropolis. The Acropolis of Rhodes offers breathtaking views of the Old Town of Rhodes and the surrounding area, making it a popular spot for sightseeing and photography. Guided tours are available to explore the site and learn more about its history and significance.

Kallithea Springs, also known as Kallithea Thermae, is a historic spa located in the city of Rhodes, Greece. It was built in the early 20th century by the Italian architect Florestano Di Fausto as a gift from the Italian government to the island of Rhodes. The spa is situated on a hill overlooking the Aegean Sea and is a popular tourist attraction on the island. The spa was used for therapeutic and recreational purposes and was a popular destination for both locals and tourists.

Faliraki BeachFaliraki Beach is arguably the main attraction of the small town, thanks to its 5-km-long stretch of golden sand and clear azure waters. It’s one of the most popular beaches on Rhodes – in the afternoon, the stretch of beach chairs is usually all taken by keen sunbakers. The beach is also popular for water sports, from banana boat rides to jet-skiing, all offered by local companies. You can easily spend an entire day just at Faliraki Beach. Come sunset time, the crowds tend to migrate up to the beachfront bars, so the best time to visit for a quiet stroll is either in the early morning or late evening.

Anthony Quinn BayOn our way to the east coast, we visit Anthony Quinn Bay, named after the famous Hollywood actor, as it was one of the sets for the “Guns of Navarone” film. The emerald crystal clear waters owed to the lush green vegetation which surrounds the beach, the stone surfaces, and the pine trees made Anthony Quinn Bay one of the most popular beach on the island.
