Rhodes Old Town

The Old Town of Rhodes, also known as the Medieval City of Rhodes, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the island of Rhodes in Greece. It is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and offers a unique glimpse into the island’s rich history. The Palace of the Grand Masters, the Great Hospital and the Street of the Knights from the Gothic period architecture coexists with mosques, public baths and other buildings dating from the Ottoman period. Walking on the cobbled streets the visitor is traveling from past to present and unlocks the deepest secrets that are hidden behind the intact walls of the Medieval City.
 

Rhodes Mandraki Harbour

Mandraki Harbor is a picturesque harbour located in the old town of Rhodes, Greece. It is one of the most popular tourist spots on the island, known for its beautiful scenery, historic buildings and lively atmosphere. The harbour is home to the famous statue of the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which stood at the entrance of the harbour in ancient times. The statue was a representation of the sun-god Helios and was considered one of the tallest statues of the ancient world.
 

Continue on the windward coast along modern resorts and subsequently, via interior routes, head for EMBONAS, a picturesque & traditional village.
